Evan Lowe, PhD
I grew up in Southeast Michigan surrounded by the automotive industry with an endless curiosity for understanding how the world works. My interests in both cars and science were evident early on. From a young age, I took things apart, built makeshift science labs, and occasionally broke household items all in the name of discovery.
Over time, that curios drive to understand complex machines became a career focused on solving some of the most challenging safety problems in modern vehicles.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of vehicle dynamics, control systems, and autonomy. I specialize in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicle safety — from simulation and system architecture to verification, validation, and full-scale testing. I help OEMs, Tier One suppliers, startups, and research teams translate high-level safety goals into practical engineering solutions across MIL/SIL/HIL/DIL/VIL environments.
Whether it’s emergency obstacle avoidance, regulatory readiness, or system-level validation, my goal is always the same: build systems that perform reliably when it matters most.
